Inspiration:
We don't see what we have because it's not what we are searching for, but it's what we need. It's funny how we usually search for things that we really don't need. It becomes stressful when we don't get them and we lose appreciation, mostly for what we have. Usually we stack up wants and give our daily life to pursuing them. It is never enough because a want is unsatisfying.

You realize that the work you have put in to achieve your wants is mostly work that gets you to see your needs. I mean the harder it gets for you to achieve that want, the more you redirect approach and finally you accept that you are unreasonable and ungrateful. That's when you see that what's important is a need.

Don't get me wrong I am not saying you can't achieve that want, I am saying that you can't appreciate a want before a need. You must first see a need and appreciate it to go for that want. The difference between important and unimportant.

Putting hard work into maintaining need instead of overlooking it. Understanding that 'living with' is a privilege of those who appreciate 'living without'. You must start seeing your life for what it is so that you appropriately work in adding to it. You find out what works and what doesn't. You focus on what works and stay away from what doesn't work.

Until you get to a point where you accept that what you thought was, is not, you still have a few miles to go. The beauty in being naive must be confronted and must be dealt with. You must accept a fact of you being wrong about something and become right. Then here on move with confidence. You will appreciate what is a need and work for that want.

Fashion Corner: Look of the week:
Enough is who you are, not what you have. This week was all about appreciation of who we are before what we have. My love for fashion is who I am, not what I have. The more that rings in my head, the more I head towards the right direction.

This looks is my appreciation of who I am- a fashion lover. My Instagram posts were also evident to this appreciation. Do check out my daily looks...
Musical Being:
I always knew that I love this song, but could not relate it to my life. Recently I heard it play and I listened to understand and it spoke to me in a very unique way. The lyrics mattered, they meant something. I mean something to life and it's all in my journey. God is good.

Enjoy this cover of Jonathan McReynolds's God is good.

My Thoughts:
The structure of my life is inside. I can't measure the structure of my life according to what I have, I measure it by who I am. What I have is a secondary motion. We must invest in being who we are and in that way we will rally to have what's important.

What's important is me and I would rather have the fullness of me than have things that mean nothing to me. If I mean something, things start meaning something.
