Mind your Presentation.

#MyBeing

When you prepare food for someone, consider the fact that you might also have to eat it. As you prepare it make sure that you like the taste before you give it to someone.

When you are hungry, you might have to eat the food yourself. So make it so that you can eat it as well. I say this because I have really noticed how when it comes from a bad place, we don't put in a lot of care into it. We just want it to do the job but we don't care how it does the job. As we dish it we mind not how we present it because we feel we don't need it as much.

This makes me question the preparations put in place for this presentation. Was there understanding in what to present? What are you presenting and why the need to present it. If your dish is unpresentable why do you present it? This is really planning nothing but damage and destruction. We don't care for presentation. We present out of imbalance.

It's sad that there's a need to destruct in hopes of fixing. Destruction is a need of reconstruction not of fixing and unfortunately those you are presenting to are regulars. They come there because they trust that you will fix them a nice presentation that is listed on the menu. Your place is the best at fixing presentable dishes, so why do you need to punish the trust of the consumer.

It makes no sense to me how your efforts to self duplicate goes to such an extend. Your confusion towards your customers really scares me. You have worked in so many restaurants and has a lot of experience, but old doesn't work in new. The current restaurant fixes presentable dishes but you are bringing styles of the previous restaurant. You need help.

Are you really present in new or stuck in the old job. You liked your old job so much, you carry it with you everywhere. Instead of speaking of your experience, try to learn how to prepare dishes for the new post. Experience is good but sometimes it holds little or no contribution to new.

You are getting annoyed with the customers here, because your previous customer didn't really care for good presentations. They, like you couldn't care less. You should be worried about yourself. You moved because it was time for new, but how will new work when you still hold on to old. You need help transcending in the new. Try to imagine yourself as the customer, looking at the menu and the reviews of this restaurant, would you appreciate a presentation that doesn't reflect on the menu and reviews?

The danger in all your attempts is that, at some point you too have to eat and someone has to prepare food for you. Would you eat old in new? I doubt, because clearly you are past experience and you prepare with carelessness so you won't be able to accept carelessness in new experiences.

All I am driving towards, is that what you give, you must be willing to receive it too. But more importantly when you are so used to preparing food mind the fact that you aren't passionate, so that you can acknowledge when passionate people prepare good dishes for you.

Stop the unnecessary confusion and see that one who need change is you.

Love you tons.
